Duramycin 72-200 Injection is a
sterile, ready-to-use solution
containing 200 mg per ml of the
broad spectrum antibiotic
oxytetracycline. Duramycin 72-200
is effective against a wide range of
gram-positive and gram-negative
bacteria for beef cattle, dairy cattle,
calves (including preruminating
(veal) calves, and swine.
Pen-Aqueous is indicated for the
treatment of pneumonia and shipping
fever in cattle and sheep, erysipelas in
swine, and strangles in horses.
Calf Scour Bolus is recommended for
oral administration for the control and
treatment of the following diseases of
beef and dairy calves caused by
organisms sensitive to oxytetracyline:
bacterial enteritis caused by
Salmonella typhimurium and
Escherichia coli
(colibacillosis); bacterial pneumonia
(shipping fever complex,
pasteurellosis) caused by Pasteurella
multocida.
A topical antibacterial for wounds and
sores, Furall contains 4%
Furazolidone. It is intended for the
treatment and prevention of bacterial
infections of superficial wounds,
abrasions and lacerations due to
Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus
spp. and Proteus spp. sensitive to
Furazolidone. Additionally, Furall is
useful in treating puncture wounds,
wounds requiring surgical debridement
or suturing, chronic wounds involving
proud flesh, generalized and chronic
skin infections and skin conditions
associated with intense itching.
